Capital City Transfer INC

Danny C. was awesome! He is an excellent truck driver and was able to squeeze his rig in some tight spaces. Nothing was damaged after moving across country. Highly recommend!

Excellence and kindness continue to be the way we describe the people at Capital City Transfer. We have used them several times over the last 15 years. They moved some things for us again last week. Jake and Ty did an EXCELLENT job and were extremely careful. They treated our things like they would...

Excellent, thorough, and timely follow through with a small town touch.

Capital City moved us twelve years ago. It was such a stress free experience I decided to go with them for our recent move. I could not be more impressed with their timeliness, efficiency and professionalism. The crew that moved us made sure that every item was accounted for and that our needs were...

They moved me from Louisville, KY to Madison, WI. I couldn't have been more pleased. They arrived on time, were very professional, and competitively priced. Everything arrived safely to my new home, including a valuable piano which was unharmed! They set the furniture up exactly as I wanted. Staff w...

Friendly and experienced staff who were gentle with all of our belongings, efficient with their time, and professional with their adherence to COVID mask-wear when asked. They worked really hard and have us full confidence in their work. They packed up our 1800sqft home in about 1.5 days. We are so...

Did a excellent job moving my furniture including my large tv.

After 30+ years in the same home, we were NOT looking forward to moving, but it turned out to be much less hassle than expected, in large part due to Capital City. LaRae Riggs is extremely knowledgeable and provided us with great advice. The price was fair and competitive with our other quotes. The...

Great group of guys went above and beyond while moving my stuff. I had no damage to anything.

Friendly efficient. Carefully packed and moved everything. On time, if they said 8:30 they were ready to move at 8:30. Competitively priced, actual price was less than estimated. Had plenty of help, 4 men, and they didn't stop until it was break time. No dilly dallying!

My moving crew of 3 arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently to get my things moved. The crew was extremely careful; none of my furniture or belongings were damaged. I would highly recommend them.

I have to tell you I have moved twice with this company and the staff was amazing both times. You couldn't even tell they had been in my house and they took great care of my items. I had two different crews but both times they we courteous, kind and did an amazing job. I used another local company...

This was the BEST move we have had. LaRae spent time up front going through the house and asking many questions and giving us advice as she did the estimate. The estimate for the move -From Monticello to Wisconsin Rapids-was very reasonable. She also informed us that we could get free used packing b...

Moving an office is stressful, but working with this team of professional movers was a wonderful experience. Josh took the time to come to our office and walk through, which made me feel confident he understood our needs. The day of the move the moving team was on time, professional, efficient, and...

Cap City moved us four years ago, and just this week they moved my 92 year old mother. In both cases, we were impressed by the care in providing a personalized proposal and cost estimate; free used boxes for us to pack up; and highly professional movers committed to taking good care of our belonging...

What a great experience. From the beginning the customer service in assessing our items to borrowing boxes was top-notch. LaRae was fantastic to work with and answered all of our many questions in the months before our move. On moving day, the crew (led by Michael) was friendly and hard-working. The...

One of the most professional movers I've worked with. Reasonable rates, which were actually less than the estimate of costs. Very helpful crew, some of whom were actually permanent, regular employees of the mover. They made what is usually for me a very unpleasant and frustrating process as smooth...

Rolf and his crew have moved me three times already. Once out of a house in Verona into storage, next into a condo and then finally across county to Orange County California. Each time they were professional, on time and on budget. We got quotes to move to California from a few different companies....

Capital City Transfer was great for my recent in-town move. My movers, Daniel & Jeremy, showed up right on time. They were diligent and extremely careful with my things, maneuvering some difficult corners in my new apartment when moving bookshelves. They were thoughtful, quick, professional and hard...

We recently used Capital City Transfer twice - once for a total house move (locally) and the other time to pick up an anitque dining set from Rockford. Both times we had the same crew. These guys were great - courteous, quick, hard-working (even in the blazing heat) and careful at the same time. The...

Simply AWESOME! I wouldn't even bother calling anyone else. On time, professional, friendly. What more could you ask for?
